First of Summer
One of the places that I really wanted to go to is the Underground River in Palawan. Being one of the newest wonders of the world, it is indeed included in my bucket list of places to go to and thankfully, I was able to go there with my boyfriend last March.
We got a deal at Deal Grocer and we were able to book for Sheridan Beach Resort and Spa at a discounted price. It was a good deal I must say, it has a lot of inclusive packages like free massage, buffet breakfast, and use of gym equipment and other non-motorized sport equipment. It was a steady vacation - full relaxation. Not a lot of people are there, no parties and social gatherings. It is a perfect place if you really want to escape from the busy and mundane life in the city. All we did is relax, swim, and sleep. Haha. and of course visit the Underground River.

The longest pool I have ever seen! Our room is just right beside the pool and we can easily access it. Nice! Plus the beach is just walking distance. :)

I was totally surprised that I got a package from the Compensation team from US and Canada! This so far, is the best accomplishment I ever had in work. I got recognized for doing a great job and they even took the time (and money) to buy and send me gifts, just because I’ve done a great job. :)
I love Compensation! Haha. That is where my heart is in HR. I get to compute bonuses and promotions and review merit increases! Kaching kaching $$$$ but that’s just ONE of the things I do in my work. Thank you Holly, Lisa, and Jen for being soooooo nice and helpful during the IPR cycle. It was indeed a stressful one, but glad that the businesses were happy with the outcome! Till next IPR cycle! :D
